The first picture shows the air duct on the older style GX620 that runs down from the air cleaner box to the carburetor. Remove the front panel as shown on the left to view this area. If the ribbed rubber hose is not clearly visible the engine is the new style (as shown below) and the air flows straight down through the air filter assembly and into the top of the carburetor.
